Trying to rewrite history. Kinda blatant.

The plan for after the war. The US took on a country with 23 million people, a ragtag army, and lotsa oil. The army knew it couldn't stand up to the US military, and the US "won". Big surprise.

The US army was supposed to be out of there in 2, 3, or, Franks said, up to 5 years. Bush made a speech in front of a White House supplied "Mission Accomplished" sign.

Then there was supposed to be democracy, elections, peace and happiness. After the war. That was the plan. Be regarded as liberators, bind them to Halliburton contracts, establish a few permanent military bases, and be gone.

Even Bush admits, now, "miscalculations". Everyone admits, except Rumsfeld, that it's a mess, and not the mess they planned on.

Except you. Who is trying to rewrite history, calling colonialism a "soft" war. Calling losing a guerilla war a "soft" war. Calling imperialism a "soft" war.

Talk about an attempt to rewrite history. A pathetic attempt, by the way. When even your fearful leader shoots your mythical horse out from under you.

But I suspect you'll be repeating this lie, over and over and over and over until you can believe it.
