He said that almost every casualty could have been avoided with a modicum amount of serious and thoughtful planning.

Would love to hear specific details about that. How would he have handled the occupation so that insurgents, Syrians, Iranians, and terrorists would decide they wouldn't want to kill Americans? Feel free to bring up the question with him.
