Kerry has a very long Senate track record of voting against military weapons systems. He was against the deployment of GLCMs and Pershing II missiles in Europe during the 1980s, weapons intended to counter the Soviet SS-25s. Kerry was in favor of the nuclear freeze movement in the 1980s. He wanted to gut the intelligence agencies in the 1990s. All of this stuff is documented, and believe me, you'll be hearing about it. THAT's his Senate record on military matters, and that's why he keeps talking about those 4 months in Vietnam more than his 19 years in the Senate.
If you're too dense to see the difference between a drawdown after the end of the Cold War and opposing weapons DURING the Cold War, then you're beyond hope. Just keep the purple Kool Aid handy. You're going to need it.
