Does anyone think that if we had paraded bin Laden's head on a pole two days after we invaded Afghanistan that the thousands of other terrorists would have gone home and taken up knitting? There would be some symbolic value to bin Laden's capture or proven death, but if we are looking at actual benefit to the war, we would get a lot more right now from nailing Zarqawi than bin Laden.
