I've posted other viewpoints. Some from inside the country. I'm not going to go back and dig them up again.

There are some tough spots right now, and before the election there will be tougher ones. The insurgents know damn well what game they're playing.

And I don't think it's any secret that Newsweek, among many others, would love to see a Vietnam-style failure in Iraq.

The vast majority of the people of Iraq do not want the Baathists and the radical Islamists to win. Do you?
