The whole point of the Swift boaters for lie was the protest activities of Kerry after the war that is where their hatred for him rests.

Well, lots of vets came back bitter and confused about the War. Hell us civilians by 1969-70 started to see the pointlessness of that conflict. Our men and women there were killing civilians and burning whole villages. It simply was a confusing mess with solders and sailors not knowing who was an enemy or a friend. Any moment some innocent looking child could (while smiling and waving) throw a grenade at you.

Again non of Swift Boaters nonsense is actually about Kerry at war. It is and has always been about him being a "traitor" as far as these vets are concerned after he left Vietnam. They struck out at his war record because it was the point of pride for him and would do the most damage to his ability to appear a war leader. The world of politics have change since Clinton, that you don't seem to get this is well unsettling, Mark. Your not stupid.

If you have read any of the stuff I've posted with any objectivity and a modicum of sense then you would see Bush as a danger to this country. I honestly don't know if Kerry is a better man than Bush. But, I do know he served in action and has seen war in all it's dirty, nasty and hellish forms. And more importantly I do believe if necessary he would take us again in to war (while still knowing it's evils) if we really needed to go there again. I trust Kerry. I don't Trust Bush. And it is that simple.
