They remind me of a grade school football team that finally gains a yard. The kids on the sideline scream and wave a finger in the air, "We're number 1!!"
They do this with every single blip. All of 'em. Tom with his 40, count 'em, forty, States, eb and eby, and this guy, whose on the upside of mania at the moment.
It ain't over 'til it's over, as the man said.
The grimmest indicator so far is that the American electorate generally chooses the most personable candidate, and that doesn't seem to be Kerry. On the other hand, Iraq has turned sour is such a manner that the propaganda can't cover it up.
And then there's the jobs, deficit, just the issues.
So, you may as well tell PS #5467 Grade School that the "Fighting Filberts" aren't #1 just because they finally gained a yard. They have to believe it.
