Dude! We are having a dialog!

Let's try to remember what we are doing so we can do it again next time.

I agree that there are some similarities between the two but I don't agree with most of the ones you listed.

Both are bug eyed crazy *ucks who like to kill people in general, and Jews and Americans in particular but in actuality kill more Moslems.

I think Saddam was more on the sociopathic side, and doesn't much care if people live or die. But all his actions were guided by his desire to build an empire. I don't think that he hated Americans, when Americans did not thwart his purposes. If America let him have Kuwait, and if we acted friendly towards him, he would like us just fine. He does have some political savvy, though, so to the extent that anti-Americanism sold with the local populous, he would use it. Same with Jews. If (by changes in reality that I can't even imagine) friendship with Jews could further his quest for empire, then he would be friends with Israel, too.

Osama on the other hand is your basic religious fanatic. He does indeed hate America. I don't think he enjoys killing, but killing represents progress towards his goal, so he will delight in that.

I do not understand how Osama kills more Moslems than infidels, though. Enlighten me.

Both have express passes to the 9th circle of hell for their betrayals of their people and their humanity.

I have no idea about the religious content of the sentence. Betrayal of their people: Saddam - yes; Osama - maybe. Need some polls or something, I guess.
Betrayal of their humanity: Sure.

Both want America destroyed It is probably true now that we took Saddam's country away from him. It was not always true for Saddam.

are more than happy to use WMDs Osama, yes. Saddam had a country to run. He was not crazy enough to think he could do whatever he pleased and the rest of the world would let him. He would have the same trouble using WMDs that any country would. He knew he was a small frog and someone would step on him if he screwed up. The only sensible use of WMDs for Saddam would be as deterrence.

pervert Islam to their own ends In the case of Saddam, he was a politician. He played to an Islamic audience. Happens in America all the time. Did you ever hear about two such holy freaking Christians as Bush and Kerry???

I'm not so sure about Osama. I would guess that he honestly believes that Wahibism is the true faith. I don't think he invented it or perverted it much.
