I feel sorry for Dan Rather

He was duped and he knows it. I saw it in his sad eyes. He trusted these people and they stabbed him in the back for their own political gains. He is probably confused because the people he thought he could trust lied to him.

Still, had no-one caught these lies, he would still be broadcasting them as facts.

Overall, I think he, and CBS, learned a big lesson usually learned by college journalist- check and recheck your sources. And if they can start reporting un-biased news based on facts, then maybe this experience will be a good thing.
