So a democratically-elected majority votes something in you don't like...

And all of a sudden it's a "putsch?"

Oh, I agree there will be trouble. The first response of the Left when it loses in the legislative process is to destroy.

"There will be blood."

Look at this quote from the Washington Post:

The GOP majority used its superior numbers and backing from Gov. Rick Snyder to ramrod legislation through the House and Senate on Thursday, brushing aside denunciations and walkouts by helpless Democrats and cries of outrage from union activists who swarmed the state Capitol hallways and grounds.

"Superior numbers?" "Helpless Democrats?" This passed the House 58 to 52. And the lunatic writing the story acts as though this vote, by an elected body, was some inherent perversion of the democratic process. Can I remind you of the scorn that was heaped on me when I expressed concern about supermajorities? The lectures you posted on the virtues of democracy?

The "right to work" law isn't about worker safety. It isn't about wages, or benefits. It's about the Democratic Party getting a kink put in its Loot Hose. This is all about the dues and "fees" (dues non-members are forced to pay), a nice fat chunk of which ends up in the pockets of just one political party.

It should never be forgotten that in the case of public unions, this single-party support comes from taxpayer money.

The Democrats didn't get control of a legislature, and that legislature passed a law the Democrats don't like. And now, I guess there will be blood.

The Left is a load of totalitarian thugs, and has been since it was first identifiable as a political movement.
