The "ballot problems" were ginned up even before the election was done. Voters in preselected areas were contacted by the party, and convinced that somehow they had been "taken." The lawyers were on the ground with a prepared plan before the first recount.
At my voting places, there are signs in every known language, special voting booths for the handicapped, offers of assistance, notices that relatives can help those who need it, special devices to punch the cards (my wife uses one), and everything a reasonable person could expect to help someone vote.
The Democratic Party in Florida created those difficult ballots. And then tried to overthrow an election by hurling lawyers at it. No doubt they'll pull the same shit again in a few weeks.
And yes, beyond a certain point, I think the franchise should be limited. If you have been following this discussion, you will also know that I do not have a workable and consistent way of doing this, so it's a moot point.
At the very least, we can tighten up ID requirements and the like. I've got to jump more hurdles to cash a check at a convenience store than I do to vote. It's interesting that every time a proposal is made that would help prevent fraudulent voting, it's the Democrats that scream like a steam whistle. Wonder why.
