According to the late Carl Sagan, our Oort clould may extend all the way to Alpha Centauriâ€™s Oort cloud.

Think about it, 2 light years away our comets may mingle with Alpha Centauri comets. Perhaps a comet we have seen in our skies once graced the alien sky of an Alpha Centauri world.
