..it's because I am smiling. I don't take much of this stuff that seriously and I do find much of it amusing enough to smile at. I confess to a bit of winking smiley-addiction but I found it does allow for the softening of rhetoric or as punctuation to help point out the punch lines.

Sometimes the only difference between sarcastic and caustic is a ;-)
