It was just about over going into the last Bush/Kerry debate.

Hopefully there will be a better showing in the last two (although I am inclined to believe that it doesn't much matter either way).

Debates are over-rated. Like conventions they only offer short term bounces and they really only convince those who were already leaning one way or the other.
