The man I was speaking of has a history of being "attacked" by people. There is considerable suspicion that these events are fabricated or staged. In this particular case, an anonymous "union thug" who bore a striking resemblance to one of the man's grown sons was the "attacker".
He calls the press, but not the cops. To me, that's a big hint of what's really afoot.
