This looks like the Orlando incident...

...complete with the references to overtime pay. The Orlando incident may have been reported to the police. They're bandying about the suggestion that some protestors may be charged, at any rate.

The Milwaukee incident sounds like a cut-and-paste from the Orlando press release. But we'll see.

The acid test for me in these incidents is whether there's a police investigation or not. The injured party has nothing to lose by filing a police report and cooperating with an investigation. If the incident is of a "friendly fire" nature, then there's considerable risk of police activity boomeranging back on the accusers, and so less incentive to get police involved.

It's close enough to the election that any criminal prosecutions will not be seen until afterward, leaving a very nice public relations effect for the Republicans. That it was a known, multiple-location union activity is both worrisome and suspicious. If it were a spontaneous outbreak of temper in one location, I would be less suspicious and more worried about union activity. Union activists are notoriously disciplined; I have a hard time believing that they would deliberately orchestrate public relations idiocy in multiple locations when they know perfectly well how to picket and obstruct in a lawful manner.

I wouldn't be so bored if I were you. Either way, this is very serious.
