Pronounciations
I'm wondering.
I've always heard Iran being pronounced "EE-Ran", never "Eye-Ran" (would look too much like I ran away from...)
But I've heard americans say "Eye-Raq" while it seems it should be "EE-Raq".
Why would Iraq be pronounced differently from Iraq?
