What's next? Americans beheading Iraqi prisoners on tape? How do we do that "better"? If we are "good" then we can do anything we want.

I don't think it's all about revenge & moral equivalence. My father once said the Americans can certainly be ruthless (cripes, remember Hiroshima?!) but are not wantonly brutal like their enemies.
