Just as you should not be allowed to get a driver's license, or any other government identification from just anywhere. You should not be allowed to vote anywhere either.
Elections are serious business people, it's how we decide the leaders of our country. They only come around once every two years, which gives plenty of time for people to go down to their county election commission and register as well as to make plans for voting. In my county the election commission and the vehicle registration office are in the same building. It's no trouble at all to get registered while getting your car tags renewed. And in Tennessee, we have early voting from October 13 - 28. Anyone for any reason can go down to their county election commisson and vote during this time.
