"Here is one you forgot..."
Well, actually this similar article that I did include
http://www.newsreview.com/issues/reno/authors/georgeknapp.asp
But my point wasn't to post all the links, I said "some links". Unfortuately my text got all squished together so perhaps it was hard to read it.
As far as your other post:
"Interesting logic. If a person has written about nonsense he can't write about truth?
Show the article is false or go fish Geoff. "
It was not my intention to prove the article was false, my point is one should be skeptical of the article and in particular because the reporter seems to lack this ability.
One should also note another article from Drudge:
http://www.9news.com/acm_news.aspx?OSGNAME=KUSA&IKOBJECTID=8ac173fd-0abe-421a-011e-5ce7dfcf561e&TEMPLATEID=0c76dce6-ac1f-02d8-0047-c589c01ca7bf
"Some of the registration drive workers earn $2 per application or about $10 an hour. One woman admitted to forging three people's names on about 40 voter registration applications. Kym Cason says she was helping her boyfriend earn more money from a get-out-the-vote organization called ACORN or Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. ACORN works with low or moderate-income families on housing issues. Cason said her extra registrations earned her boyfriend $50."
But getting back to the article you linked to. To quote:
"We attempted to speak to Voters Outreach but found that its office has been rented out to someone else.
The landlord says Voters Outreach was evicted for non-payment of rent. Another source said the company has now moved on to Oregon where it is once again registering voters."
It doesn't appear that the reporter did much investigation- after all Oregon isn't that far away. Not only that but it seems the reporter is following a pretty old lead. Did reporter bother to contact the Republican party? Etc. So this sort of indicates poor investigation, which therefore caused me to wonder who this investigative reporter was.
