In the debate I watched, it was no contest - Bush answered totally different questions than what were asked, he avoided issues, he was vague. Kerry may not be the most charismatic or scintillating candidate ever, but he runs circles around Bush.

And in the split screen shots, Bush often looked like the kid who ate too much candy and has a bad tummy ache but doesn't want to admit it - what a pained, lopsided grin! True, Kerry looked too much like the father that wants to say "told you so", but geez, it would have been hard not to.
