Just a comment or two...

Those real friends who supported us after September 11th still do. Go down the list. Most of the others supported us only so long as we were pathetic victims. That changed when we took action. Some wouldn't support us no matter what. And current mythology aside, we didn't have global support for the war in Afghanistan either. Maybe you've forgotten the marches and mass protests back then.

The fact is that if we had never gone into Iraq, the same cast of characters around the world would be attacking Bush and/or the United States on the same damn issues in Afghanistan, probably complete with body counts and daily dirges of bad news.

Most of the rest of your post is bordering on hysteria.

The people killing most of the civilians over in Iraq now are the people who were killing them by the thousands before we ever got there. The Iraqis know this. Read what they write.

Osama is most likely not alive, and if he were, he's largely irrelevant except as a symbol. Zarqawi is ten times the threat Osama is right now.

We have not spent "hundreds of billions" at this point. Look it up.

Now settle down. It's going to be an eventful week, and possibly a rough one. After the election, you're going to see some interesting changes in the world.
