Despite Powell's warnings, W's team did not properly plan for post war Iraq.

While there are many reasons for this failure, among them inapproapriate application of economic remedies, often on ideological grounds, and what is worse, the advancement of a hidden and private strategic agenda by self-proclaimed "neo-conservatives"...

The result is the generation of an Iraqi resistance, and the deaths and injury of many US troops...

When and more importantly how do we now leave Iraq?
