Given the current state of 'reason' in political thinking in this country currently, are you surprised at all? 80%+ of the stalwart fox-watching right wing thinks we found active WMD programs in Iraq, and a comparably large percentage believes Saddam had something to do with 911. When you use the bully pulpit as a bullshit pulpit, and have a few million brainless shills reading Blogs as gospell like the right here on the zone, you can get folks to believe nearly anything.
