No, really. It reminds me of air photos or satellite images of the Canadian shield, the result of a continental scale glaciation on crystalline basement rock. Non-continous drainages, relief that appears to reflect the structure of the bedrock...just the over-all "look".

(all geologic arm-waving disclaimers in effect!)
