That dark area sure looks like it could be liquid.

Check out the far right image

The south side of the dark feature sure looks like a shoreline. And those look like islands out in the dark feature. Is that a flooded crater I see in the dark area?

I have learned from Mars (dust), and even the Moon (Mare), that solids can give the impression of liquids.
