I paid for an unlisted number, and have gotten several calls from pollsters, and spam calls asking me to change my phone service...

I dunno, I feel kinda stupid for bothering to pay for an unlisted number, since I have gotten MORE unwanted calls since I got an unlisted number... all from random number dialing programs with pre-recorded messages....

Polls are worthless in geneal- The questions one automated pollster left on my answering machine were biased and leading... I think its goal was to make you feel guilty for NOT planning to vote for the republican candidate.

example question: "Do you consider yourself to be pro-life?" ok who really is 'anti-life'? stupid question! why not ask "do you feel that abortion should be legal?"

even then it misses all the various gradations of opinion people may have on the topic.

Its all rather stupid... even if I had a listed number I would tell pollsters the same thing- 'go to hell, this is my phone not yours' (except I use a bit more vulgarity...)
