re: Greener grass

I have learned that it is not where you are that matters, but rather, the people you are with. In my college years, I took off for Colorado by myself. I wanted to live there. I loved the place. But when I got there something was missing- my friends and family, and I found they were more important to me then some place.

That is why I still live in Houston after all these years. It is not my favorite place to live- not my first choice. I hate the traffic and it is too crowded for my taste. I would rather be in a small quiet town somewhere, but it is where my friends and family are. It is my home.
