I think Gary is right, though
Kerry would have been worse for space exploration (even though he certainly has other outstanding qualities IMO).
I started this thread as a way of saying: the election's over, let's accept the result, and make the best of it. In this case that means, encouraging people to push the President along on his promises and stated vision for space. (I'm from Australia so don't know if a letter to congress would make much difference .. )
