OH COME ON, TOM!!! The reaction would have been similar if a republican had said it! And IF this hypothetical republican did get a stronger rebuke then MAYBE it would be because republicans are the ones screaming about how homosexuals cant get married, how they are moral degenerates, how they are likely pedophiles how homosexual couples cant have the same right the 'normal' couples enjoy....
the republicans get to freely say all the above and none of them are 'executed' and what thehey say is infinitely more offensive and hurtful than an off the cuff pun.
