I stand by the statement.
If Karl Rove had said this, however mild it may be in any objective analysis, it would be in shocked headlines for weeks. You know it as well as I do. Maybe Carville can get away with it because everyone expects him to be an asshole. I don't know.
The point is not anything about a martyr complex. The point is that Democrats who display their real "sensitivity," as opposed to the vast tolerance and sensitivity they always label themselves with, are never called on it. The point is hypocrisy.
