So yes, a minority of us celebrated.... the rest of you apologists for the most part tried to excuse it... You sure as hell found it inexcusable when the roles were reversed

As for punishment, well I think the soldier is at least a little bit of a victim, and yes he will be punished... Those cheering crowds had been the victims of our invasion and our bombs... did it surprise you?

As for desecrating the body, I already said that was the only difference (Damn minor one compared to murder). Do you think we will give him a muslim burial?

    - So in fact you now admit insurgents are also terrorists. The Saddam Hussein government was ruled by terror. Fanatical Islam is ruled by terror. "Admit" is hardly the word to use. (n/t) - David F Mayer - 11/17/2004 7:16:55 AM

An atrocity is an atrocity, and ethics are ethics- you apparently change your ethics rather than actually think... (n/t) - R.L. - 11/16/2004 11:10:31 PM

No, you react like just another sheep. You have no way to know that an atrocity ahs been committed in that video. - ebnelson - 11/17/2004 3:37:01 PM

        2. The Marine that committed this offense faces hard times that I doubt the murderers and desecrators of coalition casualties face. (ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! FROM THE REPORTS MANY HUNDREDS HAVE ALREADY G… (n/t) - r.l. - 11/16/2004 11:00:19 PM
