People on Fallujah welcomed the US
They were inviiting us in to end the reign of terror of Al Qaeda and the Baathists.
We allowed out as many civilians as possible.
Were civilians killed in the liberation of the city?
Yes.
Were they targeted and terrorized by the US, as Al Zaqwari et al were doing?
No.
The lefties would have us believe that there were no terrorists killed by the US led liberation of the city. That is absurd.
It is clear now that the US Marines fought with distinction and honor in a very difficult situation and dealt a very heavy blow to the terrorists.
The success or failure of the battle is not measured by the civilian casualties.
