What's in "Coffee-Mate" that makes it go WHOOSH!!!
I tried this experiment. It works!
Take powdered Coffee-Mate, sprinkle it into a pile and light it
with a match [Careful! Move your hands out of the way, and
make sure you have a fire-extinguisher handy! Don't burn your house down!]
You'll get an astonishingly intense pyrotechnic display...It reminds me of
lighting loose exposed gunpowder.
I check the chemicals listed for the product; some acetate compounds, some sodium phosphates, etc., but no weak covalent-bond
oxidizers, like sodium-nitrate...What's in the stuff that they aren't listing?
