'Coffee mate' (TM) is actually a high explosive. In fact its creation dates back to WWI. The germans developed it as a munition for mortars to use against the French. Their scientists mixed phosphates and nitrates and cellulose to make a powerful explosive. many thousands died from the explosive dubbed 'K-Fe MTE' (Potassium ferrite mega-thermal explosive).
