For now, but what happens when colonization grows? I doubt everyone is going to be a saint, unless humans are somehow radically transformed in the meantime.

Leaving a place but taking our baggage with us does not solve the problem. The only thing is that in space errors and problems get few chances for correction before permanent fatality sets in.
