Interesting post........

"Freedom" is a concept with varying meanings. To a man in nature, freedom is absolute and without restriction. This being said, it is then a meaningless concept.

When man evolved from a state of nature (where the only concept of value was survival) and entered into a social state with the development of agriculture, boundaries were established which gave rise to the consideration of freedom.

My freedom to swing my arms ends where your nose begins. So you might say there is a yin and yang involved where freedom is defined only by its opposite.

This being said, it is apparent "freedom" is the name of a term that is constantly being defined and re-defined by experiences. "Freedom" is a work in progress, not an absolute, based on perceptions, rules and social customs and mores.
