No more than the elections in any other occupied country.

Simply an attempt to legitimize the puppet regime for the Bushies.

Do you really think that the Iraqis will have a true choice, when only candidates approved by the Americans can run?

Where the edicts of Bremer cannot be voted upon, let alone overridden?

Where vast areas of the country won't vote?

Where there is no choice, but to endorse, the way the Russian satellite countries did after WWII?
