Speak for yourself.

I understand that "failed elections" is going to be the talking point for an ever-more-desperate Left. No big surprise, there. The alternative would be unbearable to them.

One Iraqi responds to the recent violence:

"I swear to God, even if they burn all the elections centers, we will still go and vote," said Ali Waili, 29, a taxi driver reached by telephone in Karbala. "We have been mistreated for a long time, we have been tortured for a long time."

Some voters in Iraq are going to die going to vote next month. I think any fool could predict that. And you know what? They are going to go vote anyway. In huge numbers.

Kind of puts in perspective all those sniveling whiners who complain in American elections that they are being "disenfrachised" because the ballots are too complicated, or they had to walk too far, or the registration was not easy enough, or there were officials near polling places "intimidating" them, or whatever.
