9 More Observations Increase Risk

Since I posted this morning last night's results were added and the Palermo rating went from .3/.4 to 1 which means it is now 10 times above the background risk. I have seen risk increase before and then go down as low as 0 risk, but this usually happens right after discovery not months later with a far bigger arc. Still it is most likely that risk will go back down with more observation.

Being in the same place does imply more risk over the long term, but near term risk can be fairly well judged by calculating orbits over the next 100 years.

Mark
