The U.N. guy took back the "stingy" remark.
It would be appropriate to try and keep the political sniping out of this, on everybody's part. Lord knows it ain't easy, especially for someone like me, and I'll probably fall off the wagon somewhere along the line. And Lord knows that politics is going to raise its ugly head somewhere anyway. I hear Sri Lanka doesn't want help from Israel, for example.
But as far as possible, I go with what this guy says:
"Save 'em all, and let God sort them out."
