I've got a frend in Colorado Springs who wrote me today:
"I was outside the other night when the "lasers" were reported here in Colorado Springs. Have you heard about these? I took my family up to Palmer Park to hang out and watch city lights and all of the sudden our car just fills up with a very bright blue pulse of light...very wierd...very strong."
I asked him if it was green or blue:
"Pretty sure it was blue, maybe with some green in it. whatever it was, it was mean and powerful and lit up our darkened car something fierce."
For reference, Palmer Park is a bluff on the north (central) end of Colorado Springs. The airport would be several miles to the southeast of his location. If it was aimed at the plane, why was it over here too, unless it was sweeping? He said it came from the north east of his location.
But he saw it tuesday night?
jms
ps: just called him and had him ask the kids...they said "greenish blue".
