I think it's not cool to go psycho and hysterical on an overdose of patriotic hormones and steroids. He doesn't like his job, he want's to quit.
But, you advocate forced labor. Soon your patriotic fervor will overcome you, and you will jump up and shout : AMERIKA the VATERLAND, HEIL BUSH!
I think there is a simpler, more rational solution. We need PLANETARY WARNINGS and DEFENSES, and we need to put farm subsidies into prepositioned disaster supplies. If you want to write MADE IN THE USA on these supplies when they are parachuted and delivered into the disaster and war zones, then that would help your cause and remediate terrorism far more effectively than what you offer US in the form of patriotism.
I posit patriotism will not solve your problems.
