I can speak for myself, my beliefs, my tendencies. I don't pretend to speak for the "Left" other than myself.

The "Right" is easier to define and speaks with a more uniform voice. After all, absolutism, moral certitude (narrowly defined and accepted), religious conformity, and ascribed status in society are defining characteristics of the "Right."

On any issue opposing viewpoints, differing perspectives, and contrary interpretations of so-called "facts" throw you, Ed, RL, and others into a fit of apolexy and your patented response is to demonize the unworthy "buttmonkey" or "idiot" that didn't agree with you.
