I would think ownership of a hanger would be a good investment and it would be nice if it will be a tax break as an expense for you Cherokee.
I'd be worried about how much the utilities bill will be to heat 1700sf. if you rent half out. But then again you might only heat it when you need to.
Even if you sell the plane down the road you will be able to rent it to someone anf then sell it for at least a break even investment.
If you do buy one, don't furnish it with a couch, TV & fridge. Women have been known to change in a midair ;-)
