Yes, I have a terrific wife. When she said that, the sound effect that went through my mind was Meg Ryan in the restaurant scene of "When Harry Met Sally"
"Yes! YES! YES!!"
I told her about it last night and she said we'd need to check it out to make sure I can get two planes in there. This may actually happen! I know I can get my plane and a homebuilt (they tend to be smaller than production planes) in there, and there are a lot of homebuilders in the local area.
I wouldn't want to keep it very warm, perhaps just above freezing. It'd cost a bundle to keep a metal building that big at a comfortable temperature, even if it is insulated. All I want is for the plane to be warm enough that the engine doesn't need preheating on a winter day.
As for the couch, TV, and fridge, well, that's just a matter of time. At all costs, I have to avoid becoming another AIDS casualty, where in this case AIDS stands for "Aviation Induced Divorce Syndrome".
