This particular device was manufactured in the US, but the medical technology field i very much international. Philips (Holland) has a large share of patient monitoring throughout the world, including the US (on any TV medical show, chances are the monitor is made by Philips). Diagnostic imaging (x-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound) is dominted by Japanese companies, though Philips and GE are significant players, too. Lab analysis equipment is mostly Japanese.

Don't be too smug in thinking the US is the only source of innovation. To be sure, a tremendous amount of good work comes from the US, but by no means the majority in relation to medical technology. Even countries as small as Israel have a significant med tech research and development sector.
