The other day I had read an article about the Microsoft OS and the writer had quoted someone that said Microsoft spies on you similar to what spyware does through their operating system. I've heard this said before in the past, but I have never seen any hard evidence to support the claim. I was discussing the new anti-spyware software from MS with a friend and thought that if the claims were true, then am I adding to the spyware on my box by installing the new anti-spy program?

Has anyone ever heard if this is true or not? If you have heard it's true do you have any links to reliable sources to back the claim?
