Do you ever wonder...
... If Windows is sending product codes to MS looking for multiple installs?
I wonder if processors have a serial number like a mac address? They could determine the install history of a piece of MS software on a machine to machine basis. When multiple installs are found then, through some type of back door, they could "uninstall" the software on all online machines using that product code.
Or maybe one day MS will drop the hammer like the recording industry did on Kazaa and some of us could be in deep do-do.
