However, the Bush administration is NOT working to halt the drop of the Dollar. They have a classical notion that this will be good for our economy, but the context in which it would have been is long gone.
We have no leverage with China right now, in fact quite the opposite as long as we need them w/ N. Korea. They are NOT going to float their currency.
